A dressing agent for prevention of suppurative-septic complications of surgical wound comprises a layer of dry, sterile medical gauze, extemporaneously impregnated with a composition comprising the components in the mass% ratio (based on active substance): gentamicin sulfate - 0.5-0.7; glycerin - 4.5-5.3; treated water - 95-94. It further comprising the second layer of dry sterile medical gauze impregnated with silver by extemporaneous method to restore it from silver nitrate solution.
