A method for predicting the severity of burn disease in miners injured at explosions of methane-coal mixture comprises the evaluating of indices of representation censorial data. The total area of burn, area of deep burn, degree thermal-inhalation lesion, timeliness of medical care and the primary surgical treatment of burn wounds are evaluated. The data obtained are entered into current neural network mathematical model.
