A method for simulation of--of a rock massif on models includes formation of a model of rock massif with working, application of uniformly distributed load to it. The model is made of optically active material as a rectangle. First at the end to its center a fore-breast or room face is formed with height equal to h=2/3/h, after that in its center a set of cut holes is drilled beginning from compensation cavity to depth equal to l=(0.7-0.8)/h, and round it cut holes are drilled in circle with radius r=(0.7-0.8)/hto depth l=(0.5-0.6)/hThe diameter of compensation cavity and the cut holes with respect to actual conditions is drilled at scale of 1:30 and 1:10, respectively. The prepared model is installed between the pressure plates of the press with uniform loading with fixed pitch.
