METHOD FOR DETERMINING TYPOLOGICAL SPECIAL FEATURES OF HIGHER NERVOUS ACTIVITIES OF PIGS OF DIFFERENT AGE GROUPS IN PRODUCTION CONDITIONS

A method for determining typological special features of higher nervous activities of pigs in production conditions comprises conducting tests. The following steps are carried out: determining an orientating response in all days of a test, the essence of which lies in carrying out the appropriate response on the effect of unexpected irritators; speed of establishing a reflex for a place (the number of releases of an animal to a manger with an additional feed) and moving characteristics of a sow to the place of taking an additional feed in all the days of the test; lines of coming up to the manger in all the days of the test; character of eating up the additional feed in all the days of the test; responses of the animal to the first processing, in particular to a change in the place of taking the additional feed on the second day of the test.
