METHOD FOR THE DETERMINATION OF WORKING CAPACITY OF INSTRUMENT FOR DESTRUCTION OF BRITTLE, ELASTOBRITTLE, HARD AND SUPER-HARD MATERIALS

A method for the determination of working capacity of instrument for destruction of brittle, elastobrittle, hard and super-hard materials includes the selection of current criteria of working capacity, setting reference values of those and determination of working capacity of instrument by comparison of current values of criteria to the reference values. A fragment of material (slime) being destroyed, with form close to triangular and comprising an imprint of destructive indenter with which the instrument is equipped and a core at the back section of the slime fragment, is taken as a reference criterion, with comparison to the current fragments of material by configuration.
