Disclosed is a method of combined post-welding treatment of welded joints of metal articles, in which a transition area from the weld to the base metal is first fused locally by a concentrated heat source with power densityW/cm, and after cooling to the temperature selected in the range of 0.7 Tm - 0,02 Tm (where Tm - melting temperature of welded material) is subject to high-frequency mechanical provocation by ultrasonic vibrations.
