A process for the preparation of carbon nanomaterials from organic liquids comprises the treatment of organic liquid with pulsed discharges with voltage from 40 to 50 kV with frequency from 4 to 15 Hz, at energy storage in one pulse from 0.1 to 0.2 kJ, separation of carbon nanomaterial powder with filtration of the treated liquid, outlet of gas mixture, which is formed and contains carbon, and its treatment with pulsed electric discharges with given parameters, besides the treatment of mixture of gases, which is formed and contains carbon, is carried out with electric discharges with frequency from 1.0 to 10 kHz, voltage from 10 to 20 kV at energy storage in one pulse from 0.1 to 1.0 J.
