METHOD FOR PREDICTING RISK OF CARIES IN CHILDREN OF EARLY AGE

A method for predicting the risk of caries in the children of early age comprises the examination of blood and oral fluid. The systemic hypoplasia of enamel is assessed by translumination following its vital staining. The caries intensity is assessed by the index accounting for caries, filling and extracted tooth. When resistance test gives a value of 7.1-7.4, the risk of caries is high.
