REACTOR FOR PLASMA-ARC GASIFICATION OF COAL-WATER FUEL

摘要

A reactor for plasma-arc gasification of coal-water fuel contains reaction chamber, electrodes, solenoidal coil, energetic cone formed with rotary arc discharge, units for fuel introduction, and oxidizer. The additional oxidizing chamber, which diameter exceeds reaction chamber by 20-30%, is located over it along reactor axis. The position of energetic cone towards the level of slag tap through the diaphragm can be regulated by moving of both electrodes along reactor axis, wherein anode frontal part forms mobile bottom of reaction chamber, is made in a form of firepot filled with metal and connected immediately with current-carrying cleat.
