A method for predicting the risk of premature rupture of the fetal membranes in the incomplete pregnancy provides for assaying fetuin A, interleukin-1 and interleukin- the amniotic fluid and serum. The decrease in fetuin A is predictive of the risk of premature rupture of the fetal membranes.
