A method for synovectomy of the knee joint comprises ectomy of synovium of the superior recess of central division, external and internal recesses. In addition, synovectomy of the areas beneath and over meniscus, of the posterior cross ligament and posterior recesses is provided from central, superior lateral and posterior arthroscopic accesses.
