Computer program methods for emulating a process of a machine and training auser aredisclosed. According to one embodiment, a computer program method for use witha computerdevice includes a computer usable medium having computer readable program codefor training auser by emulating a process of a machine having actuators and mechanicalelements. The computerreadable program code includes computer readable code instructions configuredto display agraphical user interface having input fields corresponding to the actuatorsand the mechanicalelements. Also included are computer readable code instructions for displayinga training scenario tothe user on the graphics display device. Computer readable code instructionsare provided foremulating a mechanical operation of the machine using the parameters inputtedinto the input fields,generating output response data based on the emulation, and for displaying afeedback message tothe user.
