Aspects relate to pushing of content for use on mobile devices, and subsequentretrieval ofsuch pushed content for concurrent presentation with voice and/or video datatransmitted tothe mobile device. The pushed content can be indexed and otherwisesynchronized with thevoice and/or video (or otherwise controlled by a presenter) through a groupmessagingchannel. A calendar entry can include a link to the pushed content, such thatactivation of thecalendar entry can also cause a content presentation application to load andbegin presentinga portion of the pushed content. A link to local storage of such pushedcontent can beprovided in such calendar entry. The content presentation application canmonitor deviceevents or interrupts in order to detect an event indication generated from thecalendarapplication.
