The invention relates to a dynamic physical-value sensor having an optical waveguide with an optically pumped amplification medium, that does not require areference interferometer or sensor, and that provides at least the same performancelevel, in terms of sensitivity, as the known sensors of this type, wherein saidsensor is characterised in that the wave guide (1) is connected at one end to a selectivemirror (3) and in that it comprises at the other end an interrogation laser, thereflection of which on the selective mirror produces a wave that, by interferencewith the incident wave, induces the periodic saturation of the guide gain.
