Disclosed are a data processing device and method based on Ajax. The device includes an entity register module, a page mapping module and a request response module, wherein the entity register module is used for generating an entity example and returning the same when receiving an entity register request; the page mapping module is used for storing a mapping relationship table between entity examples and page label elements; and the request response module is used for generating an Ajax request and sending the same to a background server according to the received service request and assigning the data returned by the background server to the corresponding page label element and performing callback. The present invention separates the page display from the page behavior, thus reducing code maintenance costs and improving development efficiency.
