The apparatus provides access through a mobile interface, tablet or independent website (2) which captures images, information and meta-data related to the context of each stage of processing. This mobile, tablet or independent website interface (4) feeds back geographical location, device ID, device type, timing and associated scanned tag meta-data in real time to a central database. (5) The apparatus provides information to the end user when scanning the interactive tag; in terms of the contextual information that is aggregated from its supply chain history including; but not limited to product origin, production processing methods, product lifecycle traceability, applied quality assurance standards, product raw materials, applied environmental standards, animal welfare management practices, product chemical utilization, environmental impact and carbon footprint. In response to a request for information either through a mobile interface, tablet or independant website, (6) the apparatus generates a custom report describing the providence of a selected product by referencing its name, manufacturer or supplier, tracking information throughout the supply chain, time based metrics and environmental impact metrics. It also (7) graphically displays any associated meta-data attached to the product and the interactions received from other consumers who are scanning the interactive tag in the context of their access and types of use.DRAWINGS .. .. ... ... ... ... ... ... ... .. ... ... ... ... ... ... ... .. ... ... ... ... ... ... ... .. ... ... ..e s.. ... ... ... .. ... ... ... ... ... ... ... . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .. . . . . . .. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .. . . . . . .. . . . . . . . . . . ..'. . . r v u r ...................................................................................... .................................
