The invention relates to a rolling tube system and screening system for rolling up and unrolling for instance a sunblind, a roll-down shutter, a rolling door and the like, comprising a hollow rolling tube having therein a drive comprising an electric motor and an output shaft extending from the drive, wherein a stator of the electric motor is coupled to the hollow rolling tube and the output shaft is coupled to a guide situated outside the tube such that rotation of the shaft relative to this guide is prevented.
