Provided is a slat hanger attachment device that allows a slat hanger to be removed easily from a runner in a vertical blind in which slat hangers are elastically inserted into suspension shafts from below and are suspended from and supported by a runner. The suspension shaft has a support piece (13) and a guide piece (14) that extend downward in a bifurcated fashion. The slat hanger has a support shaft (23) that is insertable between the support piece and the guide piece. The support piece has a latch part (16) that supports the support shaft. The slat hanger (20) pivots by employing the lower end part of the support piece (13) as a pivoting fulcrum of the slat hanger, and the engagement between the latch part (16) and the support shaft (23) can be released while making the guide piece (14) bend with the support shaft (23). The lower end of the support piece (13) protrudes below the guide piece (14).
