The invention relates to plants for converting low-potential thermal energy into electrical energy. The power plant comprises a heat exchanger in the form of an evaporator and a condenser, a rotating shaft, a working substance, a cylinder, a membrane or bellows, which form a pump, a compressor, a nonreturn valve and an electric generator, which forms one or more units of one type, a hermetically sealed generator device with a liquid metal conductor, a metal solution, and an electrolyte, which generator device is a magnetic hydrodynamic generator with electrodes which are connected to an external load, a return pipeline with a nonreturn valve and an operation delay device with a hermetically sealed vessel which sets, adjustably, the external pressure. The invention makes it possible to increase the reliability and effectiveness of a power plant.
