The present invention relates to the technical field of arm-support type engineering machineries, disclosed in particular is an arm-support vibration suppression method, comprising the following steps: step A, detecting in real time amplitude A, phase & and period T of the vibration at the end of a last arm-support; step B, comparing the amplitude A with a preset value, if the amplitude A is larger than the preset value, then proceeding to step C, and if the amplitude A is smaller than the preset value, then ending the steps; step C, actuating the arm-support hydraulic cylinder on at least one arm-support to move, enabling the end of the last arm-support to generate a motion component having amplitude A1, phase &1 and period T; the difference between amplitude A1 and amplitude A is smaller than a preset difference, and the difference between phase &1 and phase & is nT/2, wherein n is an odd number. Also disclosed are an arm-support vibration suppression system and an arm support-type engineering machinery therewith.
