A method for controlling a flexible display screen having a first curvature comprises: detecting target information, and obtaining a detection result (101); according to the detection result, querying a database, and determining whether a first curvature is within a preset curvature value range corresponding to the detection result (102), the database storing a correspondence between a target information value range and a curvature value range; and if the first curvature is not within the preset curvature value range, generating a control command, so as to adjust the flexible display screen to a second curvature (103), the first curvature and the second curvature being different. The application of the present invention may adjust the curvature of a flexible display screen at any time as required, so as to present an optimized visual angle for the user of the display screen. This application solves the problem in the prior art that the curvature of a flexible display screen cannot be adjusted at any time, so as to avoid picture unclearness caused due to the viewing angle.
