A system parameter settings assist system for sequentially performing tests in a chronological fashion and tuning parameters with consideration given to the test results of each test cycle, comprising: a test result evaluation unit (51) for comparing test results with a previous cycle in each cycle of a test sequentially performed in a chronological fashion to calculate changes, and evaluating whether an effect that equals or exceeds a preset index has been obtained on the basis of changes in the calculated test results; and modified parameter extraction unit (53) for extracting tests that correspond to test results that the test result evaluation unit (51) has evaluated to have no effect equal to or exceeding the preset index, and extracting parameters that have been modified in the extracted tests.
