The method involves producing an outer rim profile (20) made of hardened fiber composite material, and producing plastic mold elements and a cover layer (44) made of fiber composite material. The plastic mold elements are radially inserted with an outer rim profile. The cover layer is positioned with respect to plastic mold elements and outer rim profile such that a part of the cover layer extends from the plastic mold elements to an outer side of the outer rim profile. The cover layer is fit such that it extends to a section of rim edges (30). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a rim ring comprising a rim outer profile (2) a method for attaching of spokes.
