There is provided a system (100) for generating a graphical user interface comprising time series representations of a plurality of events. The system (100) comprises a processor (1000) for processing digital data; a memory device (110) for storing digital data including computer program code and being coupled to the processor (1000); and a data interface (140, 170) for sending and receiving digital data and being coupled to the processor (1000). The system (100) is controlled by the computer program code to receive, via the data interface (140, 170), event data representing the plurality of events; calculate time series representation data representing time series representations of each of the plurality of events; and generate a graphical user interface comprising time series representation data, wherein each of the time series representations are represented in relation to each other time series representation.
