Disclosed in the embodiments of present invention is a method and system of the cellular network resources reconfiguration in the cognitive radio. Wherein the method comprises: the reconfiguration system sends messages to the base station for acquiring the available resources; when the trigger conditions are met, the reconfiguration system triggers the resources reconfiguration process; the reconfiguration system sends the resources reconfiguration command to reconfigure the resources. According to the subject matter distributed in the present invention embodiments, the process of resources reconfiguration of cognitive system is more clearly structured. That is advantaged to optimize the overall performance of reconfiguration process and increase the efficiency of base station's resources reconfiguration.
