CHANNEL INTERLEAVING REALIZATION METHOD FOR LONG TERM EVOLUTION SYSTEM AND CHANNEL INTERLEAVER

A channel interleaving realization method for Long Term Evolution (LTE) system and a channel interleaver are provided by the present invention. The method comprises the following steps: according to control information, Channel Quality Indicator(CQI) in channel data and service data are written into a interleaving matrix from top to bottom and from left to right avoiding Rank Indication(RI) position; RI and ACKnowledge Character (ACK) in the channel data are written into a register; after the channel data is completely written, the data in the interleaving matrix is read column by column; when the current read column is the column where the RI or the ACK is in, the corresponding RI or ACK is read from the register and put in the RI or ACK position in the column. The channel interleaver includes a control unit, a write processing unit, a matrix memory unit, a RI and ACK memory unit and a read processing unit. The complexity of the channel interleaving is reduced by the present invention.
