A frame scaffolding system which involves the use of temporary guard rails comprises, for each upright to which a temporary guard rail has to be mounted, at least two guiding and support devices (100) comprising fastening means (110) for binding it to the upright, means for guiding the vertical sliding of the guard rail and support means (130) which cooperate with cross elements of the guard rail itself. The scaffolding system of the Invention and the related guiding and sup¬ port devices guarantee great reliability, versatility, ease of assembly and usage at extremely low cost.
