The objective of the present invention is to evaluate autonomic nervous function with higher precision by detecting blood flow state. The autonomic nervous function evaluation device (10) is provided with: a detection means (12) for detecting the blood flow state of a subject when the subject transitions from a first position to a second position which is a position after stress is placed to cause a change in the blood flow state, after the subject has maintained, for at least a prescribed amount of time, the first position which is a position before stress is placed to cause a change in the blood flow state; and an evaluation means (14) for evaluating the autonomic nervous function of the subject on the basis of the blood flow state of the subject detected by the detection means.
