A nickel-based brazing material composition which has a makeup at least containing, in terms of mass%, 1.0-1.3% boron and 4.0-6.0% silicon, with the remainder being nickel and incidental impurities, and which, through brazing, gives a metallographic structure including a dispersed phase formed therein containing boron or silicon, the dispersed phase having a maximum length of 30 µm or smaller.
