[Problem] To shorten the amount of time required for data recovery processing without reducing the deduplication ratio for storage data. [Solution] The present invention has steps for: partitioning data to be stored in a storage device into data fragments; recording the data by way of a configuration of the data fragments after partitioning; assessing whether an identical data fragment exists regarding the data fragment; if an identical data fragment is assessed to exist, storing the one data fragment into a storage area of the storage device, and generating data fragment attribute information, which is information representing attributes specific to the data fragment, in order to record the same; if a read-out request for the data stored in the storage area of the storage device is received, acquiring the configuration of the data fragments forming the data to be read out in order to read out the relevant data fragments from the storage area of the storage device so as to recover the data; generating data to be integrated, which are objects of assessment with regard to the possibility of integration into chunks, by acquiring the recorded data fragments so as to join the same, in order to detect a repeated data pattern which repeats a specific data pattern for the data to be integrated; and, with a row of a plurality of data fragments having the detected repeated data pattern as the integrated data fragments, generating integrated data fragment attribute information, which is information representing attributes of the integrated data fragments on the basis of each integrated data fragment, and recording the information.
