Low power slicer-based demodulator for PPM

An apparatus and method for demodulating PPM signals is disclosed. The apparatus includes a slicer (218) configured to generate samples of a signal carrying information, and a demodulator (220) having a digital integrator (221) configured to accumulate the samples at two position hypothesis, the demodulator being further configured to recover from the difference of the accumulated samples (222) data representative of the information carried by the signal (224).
