The vehicle tire comprises a tread, a belt, side walls, two tire beads (2) with bead cores (5), and an insert (1) with individual reinforcements. The insert extends over the entire tire cross-section of the former tire bead to the latter tire bead. The bead core comprises multiple wires (7). The end area (3) of the insert ends in the tire bead, particularly directly on the bead core. The end area of the insert is held on three edges of the bead core by frictional forces. The reinforcing units (6,9) made of steel cord, fabric or elastomer are provided.
