TRIANGULAR TRANSFORMER IRON CORE OF AMORPHOUS ALLOY

Disclosed is a triangular transformer iron core of an amorphous alloy, composed of three identical iron core posts (1, 2, 3) formed of coiled amorphous alloy strips, the posts abutting at right angles an upper and a lower iron yoke (4, 5). The transverse section of each iron core post is circular, and the upper and lower iron yokes (4, 5) use coiled amorphous alloy strips of equal width to form frames of identical triangular shape. A transformer made from the iron core enables a low core loss, a low noise level, low consumption, and a good performance in terms of the impact of short circuits.
