Disclosed are a method for implementing terminal adaptation processing, a protocol adaptation module and a terminal. The method comprises: a protocol adaptation module of a terminal receiving delivered information from a Machine to Machine (M2M) platform and reported information from the terminal; the protocol adaptation module converting the reported information from the terminal on the basis of an M2M protocol format, encapsulating the reported information into an M2M protocol packet, and reporting the M2M protocol packet to the M2M platform; performing M2M protocol parsing on the delivered information from the M2M platform, generating data recognizable to the terminal, and providing the data to the terminal. The present invention solves the problem that the development of M2M terminal is complex in related technologies, and non-standard terminals not supporting the M2M protocol cannot access the M2M platform.
