The present invention relates to a device and method for measuring a stereoscopic effect of a three-dimensional stereoscopic image, and device comprising: a depth map generation unit for generating a depth map per frame for a two-dimensional image; a histogram generation unit for generating a depth map histogram indicating a depth map distribution chart according to a depth gray value for the generated depth map per frame; and a QM factor calculation unit for calculating the similarity between the depth map histogram and a uniform distribution histogram as a QM factor by using a Bhattacharyya Coefficient.
