The semitrailer (CN) has a pivotable part (1) hingedly connected with a trailer (3). Running rails (8) are arranged on an entire length of an upper surface (51) of the pivotable part and the trailer in two adjustable standard distances. The rails are fitted on rotary supports on both sides. A continuously regulatable arm is provided at a part of a gooseneck (2), where the part contains a rotary disk. The arm is mounted at a rotational point of the disk and provides angle changes in connection with force amplifiers of a wheel steering system for an axle with wheels (4) as desired. An independent claim is also included for a method for loading a rail car on a semitrailer.
