A vibration control method for controlling the coupled vibration of a tower crane-cable bet tower structure is applied to a tower crane-cable bet tower structure comprising an attachment device. A stay bar (30c) of the attachment device (30) is fixedly connected between a tower crane (10) and a cable bet tower (20). The method comprises the steps of: collecting excitation response signals of the coupled vibration of the tower crane-cable bet tower structure; selecting a vibration control type in accordance with the intensity information about the excitation response signals, the vibration control type comprising active vibration control and passive vibration control, and a vibration control device (30d) on the stay bar (30c) applying an active control force which is opposite to the vibration direction to the stay bar when selecting active vibration control; and the vibration control device (30d) on the stay bar (30c) applying a passive control force which is opposite to the vibration direction to the stay bar when selecting passive vibration control. The vibration control method has a marked effect of vibration reduction and a higher degree of intelligence.
