The invention relates to a transmission device for changing directions and comprises a transmission component (10) and a direction changing component(20), the direction changing component comprises a drive end (22) and an actuating end (24), one end of the transmission component is fitted to and mutually encased with the direction changing component via the drive end and the other end of the transmission component is fitted to and mutually encased with the direction changing component via the actuating end, one end of the first center line of the transmission component coincides with the second center line of the drive end, the other end of the first center line of the transmission component coincides with the third center line of the actuating end, to allow the force (F1) applied from the point where the drive end lies to one end of the transmission component to be transmitted to the other end of the transmission component located where the actuating end lies, and to thereby obtain the actuating force (F2). When using said transmission device for changing directions, the transmission component and the direction changing component are mutually encased, the transmission component can be very easily adapted to the shape of the direction changing component such that the direction of force transmission can be changed without requiring the use of a transmission device that is complex in design. The invention further relates to a power switch which employs said transmission device for changing directions.
