Insulating board for thermal insulation of the external facades of buildings, comprises two layers, where the outer surface of a first layer (1) is determined for installing on the exterior facades, and the outer surface of a second layer (2) serves for applying a plaster. The first layer is thicker than the second layer, and is made of expanded polystyrene granules, which comprises an additive of athermanous materials (3.5-7 wt.%). The second layer is made of expanded polystyrene granules, where the thermal insulation is mostly produced by the first- and the second layer. The second layer comprises additive of athermanous materials (0.5-4 wt.%) and further organic bright color pigments (0.03-0.3 wt.%), through which the second layer receives a bright color, and where heat rays striking on the second layer are reflected by the surface so that insulating effect is improved and a heating of the insulation is avoided before the application of the plaster on the second layer.
