The present invention relates to a differential pressure measuring device (7), in particular for a degree of pollution monitoring unit (6) of a filter unit (1). In order to achieve high measuring accuracy, the differential pressure measuring device (7) comprises a piston (13), which is vertically adjustably disposed in a cylinder (12) and which separates a first pressure chamber (14) from a second pressure chamber (15) in the cylinder (12), a first piston rod (16), which is rigidly connected to the piston (13) and is guided out of the cylinder (12) through the first pressure chamber (14), and a pressure sensor (8), which outside of the cylinder (12) cooperates with the first piston rod (16) for measuring a pressure force by which the first piston rod (16) presses against the pressure sensor (8).
