A porous planting sand (2) comprises natural sand particles and a hydrophilic adhesive layer. The natural sand particles are adhered by the hydrophilic adhesive layer to form a sand ball with a porous structure, pores suitable for adsorption being formed between adjacent natural sand particles. With the porosity of the sand ball, the planting sand (2) can effectively retain a nutrient fertilizer, and nutritional ingredients such as fertilizer or microbial components applied from the outside in the planting process can be loaded in the pores formed between sand particles, which prevents loss of the fertilizer due to flow of water, thereby improving the utilization ratio of the fertilizer. A sand planting structure comprises a planting container (1) and the porous planting sand (2) laid in the planting container.
