The present invention relates to creating, distributing, and storing a distribution certificate in an electronic document distribution system which is based on a public electronic address, and particularly to a method for creating/issuing an electronic document distribution certificate, a method for verifying an electronic document distribution certificate, and a system for distributing an electronic document, which makes it possible to provide a transparent and efficient issuing service and to raise the distribution reliability of electronic documents due to the security of the compatibility of the certificate. According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the method for creating/issuing an electronic document distribution certificate relates to a method for creating/issuing a distribution certificate in an electronic document distribution system which includes transmission and reception objects and a distribution hub, and comprises the steps of: transmitting a distribution message including an electronic document of a transmitter to a reception object through a transmission object; receiving the distribution message, acquiring necessary information, and creating a reception certificate through the reception object; transmitting the created reception certificate to the transmission object appending, by the transmission object by the reception object, verification information on an electronic signature certificate of the received reception certificate with the reception certificate after completing the verification of the reception certificate; and transmitting the reception certificate to a third storage institution and requesting the third storage institution to store the reception certificate through the transmission object.
