The hood (1) has housing (3) comprising opening (6) for receiving a fire sensor element (7) used for monitoring hob located below the fume extractor hood. The opening is formed in a frame (5) of the housing. The opening is formed to receive either one of covering cap, illuminating element and/or fire sensor element. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) kitchen furniture; and (2) assembly of kitchen furniture.
