The measuring system has a receiving- or transmitting device (ES) arranged inside a body (K) with an antenna (A1), where an electromechanical generator or resonator is provided as sound converter (SW), particularly as a piezo-element arrangement, to couple a sound wave (sp), particularly an ultrasound wave into a medium (M) after receiving an excitation signal (sa). An evaluation device (AE) has an evaluation antenna (A3) for wireless reception of transmission signal (sm), where a processor (C) determines the thermodynamic state variables or viscosity of the medium.
