The network identifier of first radio base station (202) is associated with mobile communication device (201') for transmitting data within automation system, to second radio base station (203). The change of connection to respective base station is initiated exclusively by network access information. Data transmission between the two components of automation system and maximum transmission period is determined based on equipment specifications. The transmission period is handled by components for controlling and/or monitoring functions for upper limit of data transmission process. An independent claim is included for a communication system of industrial automation system.
