PURPOSE: A probabilistic patent citation analysis based future promising patent searching device and a method are provided to automatically collect, process and evaluate patent information for technical value evaluation of a patent of future time, thereby reducing time and economic costs. CONSTITUTION: A data collecting unit(110) extracts citation data of a patent. A citation matrix constructing unit(120) generates a patent citation matrix including the number of citation of the patent for an unit period by using the citation data. A data processing unit(130) estimates the number of future citation of the patent for the unit period of future time about the present by using the patent citation matrix. The data collecting unit extracts the citation data from a patent database which the patent corresponding to an inputted analysis object technical field is stored.
