Hyaluronic acid gel (1) having gel particles (2) formed from crosslinked hyaluronic acid, where a biocidal metal comprises a particle (4), is claimed. Independent claims are included for: (1) producing the hyaluronic acid gel, comprising adding hyaluronic acid with particles of the biocidal metal so as to form a suspension, and adding the suspension of a crosslinking agent for the hyaluronic acid so that the hyaluronic acid are crosslinked; (2) the hyaluronic acid gel obtained by the method; and (3) a medical product comprising the hyaluronic acid gel. ACTIVITY : Antiinflammatory. MECHANISM OF ACTION : None given.
