PURPOSE: A composition for gas generating agent, a gas generating agent using the same, and an inflator are provided to increase gas generation rate and to lower combustion temperature and heat of combustion amount.;CONSTITUTION: A composition for gas generating agent comprises 35-55 wt% of basic copper nitrate as main oxidizer, 30-50 wt% of guanidine nitrate as main fuel, 2-15 wt% of combustion speed increasing fuel containing 60 wt% or more of nitrogen, and 0.5-5 wt% of mixed catalyst. The average granularity of the main oxidant, main fuel, and the combustion speed increasing fuel are 5-15 micro meters. The average granularity of the mixed catalyst is 0.1-1 micro meter. The composition for the gas generating agent additionally includes 20 wt% or less of nitrate as the auxiliary oxidizing agent based on the total weight of the composition. The average granularity of the auxiliary oxidizing agent is 5-15 micro meters. The combustion speed increasing fuel is one or more selected from 5-aminotetrazole, dicyandiamide and melamine.
