PURPOSE: A shrinkable waist belt is provided to improve the fit of a snowboard suit on a player and to extend the life of the waist belt by improving the shrinkage and compressive characteristics of the waist belt.;CONSTITUTION: A shrinkable band(11) is folded in half, and a hot melt type adhesive film is arranged between the folded pieces. The upper and lower sides of the shrinkable band pass through an heating roller to melt the hot melt type adhesive film to fuse the folded pieces. A two-layered shrinkable band is obtained. A buckle(20) is fixed to one end part of the two-layered shrinkable band using a fastening unit(21) and a Velcro fastener(14).
