PURPOSE: A detection method and a detection kit of potassium ion concentration are provided to accurately measure the concentration of potassium ion regardless of pH values and temperatures.;CONSTITUTION: A composition for measuring potassium ions includes alcohol, distilled water, aldehyde, and a chelate compound. The detection kit of potassium ion concentration includes the composition, sodium tetraphenyl borate as a turbidity forming agent. A detection method of potassium ion concentration includes the following steps: the composition is mixed with a specimen; the turbidity forming agent is introduced into the mixture to be turbid; the potassium ion concentration of the turbid specimen is measured using an absorption photometry method or a color chart.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
